A member has previously posted here as a former Admin Manager, Division Director, Area Director, and more. Recently, [he/she] stepped down from those roles, and things were going smoothly for a while. However, when the PRM position became available, [he/she/they] was approached to take it on.
This member enjoys the social media aspect of the role – sharing speaking tips, the word of the week, and other engaging content. However, [he/she] has found that managing the newsletter and using Canva is becoming too time-consuming. Despite reaching out to others in the district, offering it as a potential HPL or DTM project, and inviting people to “Join the PR Team,” [he/she] hasn’t had any takers.
Now, [he/she] is feeling burned out. While [he/she/they] enjoys the creative side of the role, especially social media and posting, the newsletter and Canva work (especially since [he/she/they] is not a graphic designer) have proven to be more demanding than expected. [Name]’s day job is focused on analysis and quantitative work, so graphic design isn’t [his/her/their] strength.
To make matters more challenging, things are not going well at [his/her] job, and [he/she] needs to prioritize the job search. Additionally, [he/she] is hoping to find a dedicated PR team to take over these responsibilities. There is also significant pressure on the district to grow the number of clubs, and if that doesn’t happen, the district may have to merge with others. This is causing a lot of stress, and is feeling overwhelmed by it all.
